Navigation and Landing Indicator

Navigation and Landing Indicator

MFD (Multi-Function Displays) are used in aircraft cockpit to assist the pilot. This MFD has been designed to assist the pilot during navigation and landing exercises. Running on Power PC and MQX RTOS this unit can be controlled using the front bezel key functions.

The MFD called as NLI (Navigation and Landing Indicator) senses the aircraft using a 16 channel ARINC bus. The sensors indicate parameters like magnetic heading, automatic direction finder, VHF omni-directional range, and distance measured. NLI operates in two modes one for navigation assistance in air and the other for landing assistance. The unit integrates into the cockpit of the aircraft and seamlessly integrates into the ARINC bus of the aircraft.
